Okay this is a little complex, but I’ve done my best to outline how it will work:

Distillery Categories

  • Category 1 - Returning distilleries which participated in 2018

  • Category 2 - New distilleries which have opened since the last show

  • Category 3 - Distilleries which have participated in the past, but did not participate in 2018

  • Category 4 - Distilleries which have never participated and were open prior to the last show

Two-Part Registration

  • January 2: Registration opens for all distilleries. This will be a similar form to prior years. If you’re interested in participating, register at this time regardless of which category you fall in.

  • Ongoing: You will be invited to confirm your participation by paying the deposit.

How Prioritization Works

As we move to each round, any distilleries which have not confirmed their participation will be moved to Category 4.

First Round - January 2-11

  • Initially, 35 spaces will be allocated to Category 1.

  • 5 spaces will be allocated to Category 2.

  • Distilleries which registered will be invited to confirm their participation by paying their deposit in the order their registration was received.

Second Round - January 11-17

  • If there is space left in either of the two initial allotments (35 for returning, 5 for new) but there is a waiting list of Category 1 or 2 distilleries, they will be invited to confirm their participation.

  • e.g if there are thirty Category 1 distilleries confirmed, and five Category 2 distilleries confirmed, but there are still three Category 2 distilleries waiting, they’ll be invited to fill open Category 1 spaces.

Third Round - January 18-24

  • Category 3 distilleries will be invited to confirm their participation by paying their deposit.

Fourth Round - January 25-31

  • Category 4 distilleries will be invited to confirm their participation by paying their deposit.
